Just beachy! Cremant de Loire and Rosado on the Oregon Coast
Today, I love all the things. I mean it, All the music. All the activities. All the minute details that make every day unique and somehow spectacular. One thing I just adore is going to the beach with a couple of bottles of wine, watching your love surf the waves and having absolutely no other plans or places to go for an entire day. We took a trip down the Oregon Coast and found the best place to post up in Ecola State Park at Indian Beach. Just 15 minutes above Cannon Beach you can find the same amazing views, partly cloudy (totally overcast) skies... Hey! Its Oregon... and tranquility amidst rolling waves. You might even find a few NON stingy jelly fish!
For this beach trip I chose two unpretentious, sunny wines to accompany us. First the Armas de Guerra Rosado made from Mencia in Spain. A super value wine if I've ever seen one; This rosé is a quintessential Mencian Rosado with young, fresh fruit and a nonconformist attitude. The second added a pleasant kick! The Domaine Jacky Marteau Cremant de Loire sparkling is a blend of Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon. It is golden in color and reminiscent of blossoming apple trees!
We felt like such happy campers! Keep adventuring!
